I had a wonderful ...

I had a wonderful time. I will go back. What i do recommend to others is to bring you own food and drinks. They have a microwave and fridge. The food is extremely expensive. Besides that it's a wonderful place to spend with your family.

We used to go ...

We used to go to Camelback Resort a lot when we were younger, and even as recently as about three years ago—when I was in my mid-20s—I still really enjoyed it. This visit, however, felt a bit different. While it was still nice overall, it just wasn’t as fun or exciting for us this time around. The indoor waterpark is fun for the first hour or so, but after that you start to run out of things to do. It’s very much catered toward children, which makes sense, and I can definitely see it being a great place to come back to someday with a family. As an adult in my upper 20s, though, it got boring after a while—even the swim-up bar. On top of that, the drinks were very expensive, around $25 with tip. Most of the food in the waterpark area was basic frozen fried food like chicken fingers and French fries. Our room itself was huge, clean, and had great amenities, which we really appreciated. However, the balcony had a bunch of garbage on it when we arrived. Instead of complaining, we just cleaned it up ourselves. We did have an issue with our breakfast bill and had to go back and forth with staff for a bit, but Camelback eventually fixed it and even comped another breakfast and something else to make up for the inconvenience, which we appreciated. Breakfast was about $30 per person—while it was delicious and had a lot of options, we definitely didn’t eat enough to feel like we got our money’s worth. On the positive side, the snow tubing nearby is a lot of fun, so is the indoor arcade, and the Trails End restaurant was delicious—probably the best place to eat at the resort, with better food and prices compared to the waterpark. Overall, I’d rate Camelback about a 7.5/10. It’s still a solid resort, especially for families, but for adults without kids, it may not be as exciting as it once was.
