We had a good time! The waterpark and resort itself were emptier than expected. The waterpark isn’t as fun or interactive as others I have visited in the surrounding area (in my opinion). The room was very clean and modern. The location is gorgeous with great views and plenty of deer roaming in the woods. I was not thrilled to find out we were charged $25.00 per night to park our car. Overall, it was a nice little getaway.

We did the day ...

We did the day pass, things were easy to get to and amenities were nice. Could be cleaner atleast the Waterpark side but nonetheless all went well. Our bartender at the swim up bar was phenomenal. Very sweet and fun!

Overall it was a ...

Overall it was a great experience. Before the check in, I had no idea as far as what to expect. The check in was smooth. We encounter some line but the staff were relatively efficient, nice and helpful. The resort shuttle is a must use. This is a big resort so this transport means is very helpful. The snow tubing attraction is amazing. During the night is a plus with the lights and the general vibe. The ski area is very nice. It has all different slopes and skills areas so it has great areas for beginners. We took the ski lessons and it was fun. They are group lessons so you have to be very attentive and sharp. Even though they are for tier one beginners, skiing is not that easy. Certain athletically and physical skills are needed. They have all the rental equipment so you don’t have to bring or buy yours. Only bring your clothing ( ski jacket, pants, googles and gloves ) ski boots and helmets are available to rent all in the same place. Also, you can purchase the reservation for the attractions via website, don’t waste time on the lobby because the lines can get long! Do it via internet. The Aquatopia water park is huge! We don’t use it on this occasion, we come from the Caribbean so we were looking forward for the snow related activities but lots of people were having fun in the water park. The only 3 areas of opportunity that we experienced in our opinion are: The signage. It can be tricky to find the right directions in some occasions. There’s a map on the website but i think a physical one specially for older people can be helpful. The second is finding staff. Maybe is because of the season, but sometimes it can get tricky to find staff members in some parts of the resort. We saw some staff with green uniforms, others with red, blue etc… i think one same color for all staff members can be helpful because this resort attracts hundreds of guest. The third one is the restaurant and entertainment. Some hours on the website are not updated. Some restaurants we had the impression that were under staff. Very nice servers but specially in one of the best ones, the Trail Ends Grill wasn’t allowing walk ins the day we wanted to go because they were under staffed. Then, we went to the Mexican restaurant and turned out, it wasn’t mexican, it was a Switzerland theme menu. That staff and chef were super nice but still need some details to be running smooth. At the end, the overall feeling and vibe of the resort is a family and kids friendly resort. Is not a romantic couples oriented. Even though they are some restaurants with bars, I think that a small pub/club/bar adult area can be a must specially for adult couples to relax after a full ski day. Overall, we recommend this resort 100%!
