Overall is nice family ...

Overall is nice family friendly water park . The indoor water park could use some good water pressure cleaning , it’s slippery around most areas . Also the bathroom and showers could use some nice cleaning . Service is very attentive , you got some good people working there for sure . Food is also decent .

Im updating my review ...

Im updating my review from many yrs ago. My family and I came here over halloween weekend. Check in was a breeze and valet and check-in staff were top notch. They used to let you self park for free but now its $25 per night. Let's talk rooms. We got the 1 bedroom suite. Couch, bed and pillows were all extremely uncomfortable but at least with all there is to do we didn't spend much time in the rooms. Eating options are scarce during the off season. For most of our stay the buffet was closed so we only had one option for breakfast. (Hemispheres only opens if they have a certain number of guests). For lunch we had options of either Graffiti Pizza (the one time it took them 20 mins to get us a slice of pizza and some fries) or the snack shop inside the Waterpark both pretty much serve the same thing and are exactly what you'd expect. There are more options for dinner like Trails End inside the resort and some off resort options as well. The only one we tried was the new mexican place my advice stay away unless you want to be on the toilet all night. The Arcade is fun when the games actually work or don't break down every few minutes. The water park is great fun but finding a chair can be tiresome when the place is busy and cabanas are ridiculously expensive per day. The resort used to have a pottery place that my kids and I loved going to but they closed it to make room for more arcade games. Other than the water park there isn't much in the way of relaxing things to do. Even though there's improvements they could make we will continue to vacation here

Long but candid review: We ...

Long but candid review: We just recently stayed for 6 days/5 nights and overall it was a great vacation. We do not have young children (1-17yo) but did bring our dog who has special needs. At check-in, we found out they overbooked the pet rooms but gave us one on another floor and made sure management and housekeeping knew there was an approved pet in the room. Camille was amazing in making that happen and we hadn't had an issue with anyone entering the room. The indoor waterpark is really fun but short staffed. One of the days we were there, they had a lifeguard shortage so some of the attractions weren't open but we had a great deal of fun anyway. Lazy river is always a winner whereas the Venus Slydtrap (sp?) is not for the faint of heart, like myself. Great tube slides, perfect for all ages and the wave pool is fun but gentle and suitable for smaller children attended. CamelBeach, the outdoor waterpark is something I think everyone needs to experience but we weren't too impressed. Very long lines, steep hills, extremely overpriced food and you even have to buy a towel. The wave pool was more powerful and larger than Aquatopia, but equally as fun. The grounds themselves have everything you can think of, and all at sky high prices. There is a decent arcade and some other fun things for kids. My advice would be to explore Tannersville and eat offsite. Now, here are the negative issues we experienced. First, the lack of control the staff seems to have. I understand the laws of PA but there were so many people smoking weed, middle of the day, right on the sidewalk while kids were trying to pass. This was every day, at all times of the day. The resort has a "quiet time" which didn't seem to be observed. Multiple kids running unattended throughout the hallways at all times of night. There was a fair share of large rude, loud and seemingly entitled people that had zero respect for the grounds or people around them... playing loud music, throwing trash, yelling and fighting, etc. As a place geared towards children and families, I would hope more people would have some decorum. The staff didn't seem to bat an eye at these issues. Overall, even with the little bumps, I would highly recommend coming to Camelback. We made some fantastic memories and I'm sure kids of all ages will love it.
