ALPINE & SNOWBOARD TEAMS

Camelback Mountain is proud to support youth ski and snowboard racing through independently run programs by the Pocono Alpine Ski Foundation (PASEF), a parent-led nonprofit. Designed for experienced young athletes, these programs focus on competitive training, elite racing opportunities, and fostering sportsmanship, safety, and community spirit—while honoring the legacy of Camelback team member Rob Corchnoy.

Adaptive Skiing at Our Poconos Mountain

In partnership with the Pennsylvania Center for Adapted Sports, our Poconos resort offers inclusive, full-service adaptive skiing and snowboarding for ages 5+. With certified instructors, specialized equipment, and personalized lessons for all abilities, we’re committed to delivering a safe, supportive, and fun mountain experience. Lessons are available on weekends by appointment only.

    DEVELOPMENT SKI TEAM

    The Development Ski Team represents the future of the Ski Race Team. Membership on the Development Ski Team is open to young skiers 6 and older who can comfortably ski intermediate trails.

    ALPINE RACE TEAMS

    In a positive coaching setting, children begin in programs like Development or Team Discovery to become versatile skiers. Progressing to Competition Teams (U8-U21), they refine skills in Slalom, Giant Slalom, Dual Panel Slalom, and may explore speed events like Super-G and Downhill.

    The Snowboard Race Team is a hard boot technical program for expert snowboarders aged 18 and under who wish to race competitively in USASA and/or USSA sanctioned events.
