Tannersville, Pa. (October 8, 2018) – Camelback Resort, America’s #1 Adventure Resort and only 90 minutes from NYC, announced the grand opening of two new restaurants, Kartrite’s Summit House and Berrelli’s Family Style Italian, featuring epic views and unique dining experiences. Kartrite’s Summit House serves Contemporary American fare and is located at the top of Camelback Mountain; the highest restaurant in the Poconos. Berrelli’s family-style Italian is the only family style Italian restaurant in the Poconos. Located at the base of Camelback mountain, Berrelli’s offers slope side views, outdoor dining and fire features and a carefully curated wine bar. Both restaurants are open to the public year around, giving area residents and tourists, two more opportunities to enjoy Camelback Mountain.

Kartrite’s Summit House

Kartrite’s Summit House is the highest restaurant in the Poconos (at an elevation of 2,133 feet), where the only thing that tops the food, is the epic view. Perched atop of Camelback mountain, in Big Pocono State Park, Kartrite’s Summit House features Contemporary American fare, craft beverages and exquisite architectural designs. This mountaintop restaurant was built for year around use with access to hiking trails from Spring through Fall and ski-in/ski-out enjoyment in the winter.

Kartrite’s Summit House is also the perfect wedding reception venue, located adjacent to the breathtaking mountain-top wedding ceremony site. 

Kartrite’s Summit House is currently open for dinner Wednesdays through Saturdays from 5:00pm - 10:00pm and will offer Sunday brunch starting on October 14th.

Berrelli’s Family Style Italian

Imagine a big family style Italian dinner, laughing, story-telling and sharing a delicious meal. Berrelli’s features Traditional & Contemporary Fare. Olde World favorites like Zuppa di Mussels, Pasta with Sausage & Peppers & Chicken Parmigiana to New World Favorites like Clams Vongole, Lump Crab & Pappardelle Pasta and a Grilled New York Strip Steak served with Broccoli Rabe. 

Berrelli’s also takes pride in its carefully curated wine list that includes bold Italian wines as well as some lighter bodied California wines served from a temperature-controlled Wine Room – for that perfect bottle each time. Also enjoy Italian specialty wines found on tap at the exquisitely designed Wine Bar that ensures freshness with every glass. 

More than just dinner, Berrelli’s offers an experience to remember – for the entire family. Come hungry year around and enjoy ski in/ski out accessibility with outside fireside features in the winter.

Berrelli’s is open for dinner Tuesdays through Sundays from 5:00pm - 10:00pm.
