Nestled in the scenic Pocono Mountains, which were formed 400 million years ago, Camelback Resort is a year-round recreational destination ideal for adventure-packed multi-generational family travel and experiences. Its wooded hills and valleys serve as the background for almost two million outdoor enthusiasts and nature loving visitors annually. The 560-acre resort includes Camelback Mountain for unsurpassed skiing, snowboarding, and snowtubing; Camelback Mountain Adventures for ziplining, a treetop obstacle course, and alpine mountain coaster; Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark, Pennsylvania’s biggest outdoor waterpark; and Camelback Lodge & Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark, the latter voted USA Today’s 2019 #1 Indoor Waterpark.

Accommodations are available at Camelback Lodge, an eight-story mountain modern-designed hotel with 453 guest suites, featuring many dining choices including ski-in/ski-out restaurants, Serenity Spa, a fitness center, 20,000 square feet of flexible conference and meeting venues and 170,000 square feet of indoor adventure and entertainment space. 

Situated adjacent to and partially within Big Pocono State Park with base elevations of 1,252 feet/381.61 meters and Camelback Mountain peak elevation at 2,079 feet/633.679 meters, Camelback Resort is ideally located 90 minutes from New York City and two hours from Philadelphia.

Camelback Mountain & Snowtubing Park

Camelback Mountain is a winter haven for adventure seekers. Its snowmaking capacity could cover MetLife Stadium or the George Washington Bridge with one foot of snow in just 24 hours, and the annual snowfall is 54.6 inches. Snowmaking takes place on 160 acres with 1,200 plus snowmaking guns at work. Camelback Mountain invites outdoors adventurers to enjoy 39 trails, 16 lifts and the country’s largest snowtubing park complete with an out-of-this-world galactic after-dark light experience with music and disco lighting, 42 lightning fast lanes and two magic carpet lifts. 

Camelback Mountain Adventures & Camelbeach Waterpark

Camelback Mountain Adventures feature Pennsylvania’s only mountain coaster with a 4,500-foot steel track and its longest twin 4,000-foot zip-flyers. There are two 1,000-foot ziplines, the largest treetop adventure course in Pennsylvania with over 100 aerial obstacles over five courses (closed in the winter). 

The resort’s Camelbeach Waterpark is Pennsylvania’s biggest outdoor waterpark featuring 37 rides, slides and attractions – the most in the tri-state area. The waterpark is highlighted by a wavepool, FlowRider, Vortex, Spin Cycle and dozens of family body and tube slides.

Camelback Lodge & Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark

Camelback Lodge, an eight-story mountain modern-designed hotel with 453 guest suites, is the only ski-in/ski-out resort in the Poconos and features many dining choices including ski-in/ski-out restaurants, Serenity Spa, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and 20,000 square feet of flexible conference, meeting and special event space. 

Modern mountain décor with comfortable furnishings is the style of the 453 guestrooms and 16 suite configurations from lofts to suites with bunk beds, with the largest suite accommodating 14 guests. Many of the suites and room styles include fireplaces, balconies, spacious lofts and full kitchens with the conveniences of home.

Dining venues include: Hemispheres, a family friendly all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant open for breakfast and dinner; Trails End Pub & Grille, a ski-in/ski-out American brew pub open daily; Neptunes, open for lunch and dinner with a view of Aquatopia and an appealing kids menu as well as craft cocktails for adults; Graffiti Pizza, a New York graffiti-themed pizza spot; Kartrite’s Summit House, a ski-in/ski-out only contemporary American fare restaurant; Berrelli’s Family Style Italian Restaurant offering authentic Italian cuisine and an extensive wine list in a fine-dining ambiance; and Flyboys, the Poconos’ most unique indoor pool and swim-up bar reserved for guests 21 or older. 

Camelback Lodge’s Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark, voted USA Today’s #1 Indoor Waterpark with North America’s largest Texlon transparent roof, has 13 exciting and innovative water slides – tube slides, body slides, mat, bowl and aqua launch slides as well as kiddie slides for the youngest thrill seekers and more. Indoor cabana rentals offer deluxe features and a place to relax or take a nap between or after Aquatopia adventures. 

Arcadia Adventures offers dry activities including: 7D Dark Ride offering a crisp, multi-sensory immersive experience; two climbing adventures, The K2 Climb and The Ascent; a Lasertron Laser Tag arena; a 4D Chaos Jump VR experience for a sci-fi adventure; a bumper car course; Game of Stones Escape Room; The Stone Rollers mini bowling alley; Polka Dot Pots for pottery making; and Arcadia Mega Arcade packed with over 100 state-of-the-art video arcade games.
