Traditional Thanksgiving Feasting at Hemispheres

Amidst glorious mountain views, family-friendly Hemispheres at Camelback Resort, will be offering a traditional three-course repast starring Roasted Turkey Breast and Drumsticks with all the fixings and a variety of sides– served family-style. The meal starts with Assorted Rolls with butter and lingonberry jam and a choice of Spiced Pumpkin Soup or Field Greens Salad with dried cranberries, walnuts and gorgonzola. The featured turkey comes with Gluten-Free Gravy and Cranberry Sauce, as well as Whipped Potatoes, Sweet Potato Casserole, Buttered Peas and Roasted Peal Onions, Green Beans Almondine and Homemade Stuffing. To complete the holiday deliciousness is a choice of Pumpkin, Pecan or Apple Pie topped with fresh whipped cream or Pumpkin Spice Panna Cotta.

Christmas Dining at Hemispheres

Loved ones are delighted to be celebrating Christmas 2020 at Hemispheres, Camelback Resort’s main restaurant – casual, yummy holiday comfort food, and relaxing for all – with sensational mountain views as the backdrop. First there’s a choice of Butternut Squash Soup or Bibb Salad with apples, candied walnuts, blue cheese and dried cherries. The main course is served family-style and is mouth-watering Honey Glazed Ham, Pommery Mustard Crusted Salmon and Rack of Lamb accompanied by Truffle and Boursin Potato Gratin, Roasted Carrots and Parsnips, Moroccan-style Spaghetti Squash and Balsamic Glazed Brussels Sprouts with candied bacon. Then everybody happily shares Christmas Cookies such as gingerbread men and chocolate chip, and also offered is a choice of Flourless Chocolate Cake, Sweet Potato Pie and Pumpkin Spice Panna Cotta.

Happy, Happy New Year’s Eve at Hemispheres

Celebrating the ringing in of the new year is memory-making at Camelback Resort snuggled into the Pocono Mountains. At Hemispheres, the elegant four-course gala dining experience starts with a Crock of French Onion Soup and Arugula and Radicchio Salad with shaved Grana Padano, preserved lemon and pine nuts. Served next is a little hors d’oeuvres party of Oyster Rockefeller, Mini Shrimp Cocktail and Cocktail Meatballs. The main attraction is Prime Rib Au Jus and Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes paired with Roasted Garlic Potato Mousseline, Maple Glazed Root Vegetables, Braised Escarole and Winter Vegetable Ratatouille. For a sweet 2021, the gift from the chef is a Chocolate Covered Strawberry, and desserts are Champagne Strawberry Shortcake Parfait and Chocolate Lasagna.

NYE Bubbles, Bourbon and Beef at Trail’s End

Trail’s End says goodbye to 2020 in style with champagne and prosecco sips, artisanal barrel-aged bourbons and a special Tomahawk steak for two with grilled lobster tails.

On Thanksgiving, complimentary hot chocolate and hot cider will be served in front of the main fireplace near Neptunes from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Linvilla Orchards Pies will sell its famous pies in Hemispheres with a percentage of sales dedicated to Camelback Cares, established to support the Poconos community. Pies are available for takeaway pickup Wednesday, November 25 through Saturday, November 28 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. In addition, TVs in Neptunes and Trails End will entertain sports fans with broadcasted football game.
Special family holiday activities are planned throughout December weekends and the holiday break. Festive experiences open to the public include elf reading to children, starting on Friday, December 4, and continuing every Friday and Saturday until Saturday, December 19. Photos with Santa will be snapped in the Lobby every Sunday in December, and the resort’s Hanukkah Celebration with games and the lighting of the menorah takes place in the Lobby all eight nights of the holiday. Then during Christmas break, there are cookies and milk in the lobby on December 23, gingerbread decorating on December 24, as well as story time with Mrs. Claus. On Christmas Day, there will be a Pancake and PJ event and more. On the 26th, Morning Tunes is the entertainment, and the indoor waterpark features Aquatopia Glow Night. The 27th brings an Early Bird Scavenger Hunt, The Giant Snowtubing Race and a Kid’s Pardee. On the 28th, there are special yoga, Dashing Thru the Snow outside and a reptile show. On the 29th, kids see a magic show and more. And, the 30th features yoga and Dashing Thru the Snow.
